- User Selection: The beauty lies in the simplicity. With a user-friendly multi-select dropdown, pick your squad of up to 10 users to stay in the loop on specific opportunities.
- Visibility on Dashboard: Keep your opportunities front and center! Even when the “only assigned data is ON” setting is active, opportunities you’re following will proudly showcase themselves on your board.
- Permission Alignment: Wondering about access levels? Followers ride on the same permissions as owners – access, view, edit – with a few nuanced exceptions we’ll unpack shortly.
Note:
- Ownership Restrictions: When "only assigned data is ON," Followers (as Sub-account USERS) won't be handing out ownership shifts for opportunities. It's a designated field for collaboration, not a backstage pass.
- Admin Privileges: Admins, listen up! Now you can get the full picture. Similar to contacts, even with "only assigned data is ON," admins can view all opportunities in a sub-account.
- Edge Case Handling: For those tricky situations – when you're a USER with "only assigned data is ON" and dealing with unassigned contacts – Followers can flex their editing muscles on opportunity details and custom fields. Contacts, tasks, and notes, though, remain untouched.
